I too join Ivonne in thanking all those people who have lent their support to Las Voces through their hard work, financial support, and encouragement. I especially would like to thank Brian Montgomery for providing guidance regarding our structure and help regarding the myriad of details necessary to set up a non-profit; to Richard Komer for his invaluable guidance and support in my public interest and human rights work generally; to Carmen Conde for making me feel as if I had family in Puerto Rico from the moment I arrived; to Dmitri Chesnokov for his support and desire to act as my agent; to Rosemarie Cing for showing me true courage and humanity in her battle against cancer, and, to Ivonne Rodriguez and her husband, Roberto Benitez, for support beyond measure in listening to my human rights experiences and for their inspiration and commitment to establishing an organization to make the world a better place.
